Reflecting on the coming of a new year

Wishing you a very Happy New year. With the end of another year l choose love, gratitude and blessing in my life. We do not remember days, we remember moments. So cherish the little things and embrace life as imperfect and wonderful as it is. The imperfection of days and motherhood makes you realise the precious moments. It isn't the glamourous or picture perfect times. It's the day in and day out goings on. I want this coming year to be about embracing all of my life and having more joy. Being faithful to the little things in all the big things and all the loud of life. That l may be more patient and kind and slower in the way l react. That is my wish. I hope you stay safe and enjoy the beginning of another year. Be blessed.

The end of the 52 project for the year. I look back over a year of photos such a richness of moments with my little ones. First moments, a tide of love, discovery, magic and learning. I wonder what the new year will hold. I'm going to breathe it all in though and continue on the path of living a simple life with truth and gratitude. Will you join me?

I've been running late with posting the 52 project but it hasn't escaped my mind. I am immersed in family life, play in nature and indoors and have enjoyed watching my tribe learning and growing of late. So many milestones and special moments these past weeks. I've started to write reflections down knowing that when l get a moment that they will all come together in song and meaning. Christmas time is always a fluid, chaotic and creative rush... I feel like things are starting to slow down a little and l am so grateful. Ads is off for a month it's going to be all about our tribe, adventures outdoors and home. What have you been up to?

"A portrait of my tribe, once a week, every week, in 2014."

Miss Four| celebrating your fifth birthday a little early. In a week you will be five and a new journey will begin.

Little Fox| weeks away from turning two. Realising the absolute bliss of honey joys, playing in the table tent and having a crowd sing you happy birthday with your sister.

Siblings| the moment where you realise what an honour it is to celebrate the birth of your two children together and the joy on their faces as we sing happy birthday to them.
