BITS + PIECES: Stills- a weekly collection.

I am and have always been a homebody, a nanna. Content with a cup of tea warming my hands and people around me. I like to travel and have adventures but I always return home. I can't help myself if l can make it, bake it, grow it or draw it I'll give it a go. I want my tribe to learn the same, to live intentional lives.
Days are crazy during the school holidays but this week things have begun to slow down. Over the last few days there were adventures with dear friends, crafternoons, imaginative play, nature studies and time with Nana. The kids playing as l sit at the sewing machine finishing quilts and kilim cushions. Vintage sheets dry outside on the line, ready for the iron and cutting for new Spring clothes. I've got a market coming up. The kinder bag packed and ready for Miss 4's last term at kinder. The garden is lush and green and Spring is here. Beautiful sunny days, warm breezes, open doors, flowering gums, kookaburras high in the trees and daylight savings. The smell of jasmine at twilight and the birds feeding by the front window, a glass of wine and a book. This is my heart, my tribe, my home, everything that really matters.

This week's stills:
1. Apple eating, joyful little ones wearing felt bowls for hats.
2. Vintage homemade table tent, hours of fun right there.
3-9. Afternoon with friends at Heidi, having a picnic, collecting leaves, rolling down hills, searching for fairies {you can find the reversible Sunday pinnies in velveteen and also in cotton that they are wearing here, custom spots are available, plus all our other handmade goodness}.
10-13. Time spent in the garden, weeding, harvesting and doing intentional learning with Miss 4 {you can read the latest in our garden series here}.
14. We are a rainbow loving household here.

You can read all about the past Poppyfoxathome Stills here. I was thinking a lot about why l started this blog and it's still all about telling the story of our lives {you can read all about it here} amazing how much has changed and yet stayed the same.

What's important to you?
