BITS + PIECES: Stills- a weekly collection

It's been a busy week but I finally got a date day with my lovely husband before he has his operation and celebrate a early wedding anniversary and valentines all in one. I'm learning that even with kinder comes days that are to short and a to do list that is to long. There is a never ending pile of washing to wash and dry, food to make and a house that needs a major overhaul. We all face it I'm sure.
Our week in photos-
1-3. Park days, keeping a slower rhythm to our days after last week {I wrote all about it here and here}.
4-5. Growing into such a little boy. Exploring nature, showing an innate interest in the wind rustling the gums and the call of native birds {I included these in the 52 project this week here}
6-9. Symbolic play. Miss four recreated St.Andrews market, a festival and a meeting place. Stories of nature and nurture, coloured muslin scarves, wooden fences and schleich animals covering the floor it was such a magical week.
10. Everyone should be a super hero.
11. Our tomato harvest was plentiful but little else survived the summer heat. I'm getting ready to overhaul it next week.
12-16. Our Intentional Montessori classes have been in the kitchen this week and role playing. Measuring ingredients, practising cracking eggs, talking about healthy foods and gaining skills with the thermomix. We had little fox watching his sister as a black cat called ginger cooking a Lemon syrup cake {recipe here}, more bliss balls {recipe here}, enjoying a berber tagine {recipe here}, and practising our tea rituals coming together for a pot of chai and some afternoon tea.
17. I'm crazy about owls {I saw this beautiful one on a friends wall}

Joining Em at the Bettleshack for Stills and you can read all the past Poppyfoxathome Stills here, there has been a few. Thank you to everyone who has left comments recently it's been amazing following everyone when l can grab a moment. Little Fox has been teething and has been unsettled so some days little gets done. Ads goes in to hospital on Friday to get his tonsils out so if you don't hear from me for a little while, I'm busy playing nurse at home. Hope you have been having a great week so far. Oh and you know it's voting time for the Kidspot Voices of 2014, if you like what you read and want to vote for Poppyfoxathome that would be awesome {you can do it here}.
