This week I was asked to make a contemporary bespoke queen-size quilt for a very special grandmother. I'm excited to start such a large project over the next few months, collecting the fabrics, working out the design and blend of fabrics and then to cut the pieces and create a tapestry that will become a keepsake. Garden roses, touches of pink and yellow and a sea of blue and green hues. I'm inspired by the sunshine of summer, colour and the diversity of fabrics.

Happy Quilting!
Hi Jo
I looked at your fabric links they are lovely. I to adore Moda fabrics I used them in the first queensize Nature quilt I designed. It was a massive undertaking but l found that l liked creating a large project piece where the fabrics could speak for themselves and create a story by using different rectangles and cut pieces. Some of these fabrics are from Amy Butler's past collection, Japanese fabrics and the dot fabrics are from Spotlight last year. I've been collecting for the last two years and it was great to pull out a whole pile of fabric and begin getting an idea about what to use. I'm sure l will have to add to the number of fabrics already chosen but l will wait till l cut them and begin piecing them together. You'll have to keep me posted on how you go using the Athill Range charm pack. I'd love to see some photos. Thanks for getting intouch.
Absolutely! :) Jo x
